A great trip to Vegas

Yes, it is a great trip to Las Vegas. Thanks God that we have a safe trip even though we all get tired with the long time driving. It takes us almost 15 hours to come back from Vegas to San Francisco. Yeah, 15 hours. It is even longer than take a flight back to Hong Kong. However, it also gives us a good time to share our experience with God during this long travel time. I think we really get closer to each other after this trip.

Just another day

This is the first day I really start on X-Men code base. It didn't seems that bad for me since they already move a lot of thing from the code to XML files. However, I still feel really tired today... don't know why.... Joanne need to work really later this week since she need to catch up her project for the two and a half days off. Babababa.... tired and tired....

A really great lesson from the bible study

Last night, I have a bible study with people in San Francisco's fellowship. We read James, and I have a lot of impacts in Chapter 4:13-16 "嗐 、 你 們 有 話 說 、 今 天 明 天 我 們 要 往 某 城 裡 去 、 在 那 裡 住 一 年 、 作 買 賣 得 利 ． 其 實 明 天 如 何 、 你 們 還 不 知 道 。 你 們 的 生 命 是 甚 麼 呢 ． 你 們 原 來 是 一 片 雲 霧 、 出 現 少 時 就 不 見 了 。 你 們 只 當 說 、 主 若 願 意 、 我 們 就 可 以 活 著 、 也 可 以 作 這 事 、 或 作 那 事 。 現 今 你 們 竟 以 張 狂 誇 口 ． 凡 這 樣 誇 口 都 是 惡 的"

I have read this scripture couple times ago. Everytimes, it gives me different impacts. This time, while I am in the middle of an uncertainty point in my life, this scripture really meaningful to me. I will explain this more in the forum and share will my brother and sister more. I really really thank God using this scripture to answer my question to him. God! Thank you very much for your love to me and to all of us!

What is our goal?

Base on today's devotional material, it states "The goal of the missionary is to do God's will, not to be useful or to win a lost. A missionary is useful and he does win the lost, but that is not his goal. His goal is to do the will of his Lord." Then, what is my goal?

The forum for us is finished

After spending so many hours, the website has finally rebuilt. Also, the web hosting provider provides a forum service for us to build up community. I have built one for our old fellowship friend and I wish we can have a gathering place in there.

My life is still the same. I am still struggling the change of the company and thinking about future. The work to finish True Crime2 spend a lot of my working time. Even the work load is not so much, but I still need to stay in the company almost 12 hours a day for any urgent bug come out. I think I really want some quite time to refresh myself.

Also, I and Joanne have finally bought a new car. We decide to buy a new Nissian Sentra. There is a lot of think to go through during to make a decision in buying what kind of car, and thanks God that he provides the best. It is the first car that I ever bought by myself in my whole life, and sure it is full of blessing. I will post some pictures in here of that car in here later.

Many Many things happen at the same time...

The thing happen in last week change many of my faith to the company. The final shocking event happened on last Friday when Tyson told be that he got fired.

Tyson is one of my best friend in the company. After he left, I will loss a good friend that play table tennis with me. Also, he is one of my good co-worker that I can share my programming problems with. I am sure I will miss him a lot.

Lazorane and Selina visited us from Vancouver this weekend. We have a great time together except I still need to fix bug on Saturday and Monday. It is great to have some close friends to visit us in here, especially in this time...
